Ninety Six National Historic Site

Hear the Echoes of the Revolution!

Ninety Six, South Carolina – Surround yourself with over 300 years of history that you can feel at Ninety Six National Historic Site’s Revolutionary War Days. Experience Revolutionary War life through an authentic encampment. Listen to Colonial music and be amazed at the acrobatic feats of special 18th century entertainer Signora Bella. Visit with reenactors portraying Patriots, Loyalists, Militia, and Colonial families. Learn about women during the Revolution with an author’s forum. Enjoy special Ranger led tours and talks. Have fun with special kids’ activities. Hear the cannon and muskets echo across the battlefields. 

The free event will be held Saturday, April 14 and Sunday, April 15. The park is open every day from 8am to 5pm, with events held from 9am until 5pm on Saturday, and 10am to 3pm on Sunday. Revolutionary War Days is held every other year. 

At 2:30pm on Saturday a special ceremony commemorating the lives lost here during the American Revolution will be held. United States Congressman J. Gresham Barrett will be the key note speaker. 

The Park features two Revolutionary War battlefields, the original 1781 Star Fort, an authentic cabin, museum, ten minute interpretive film, Visitor Center with bookstore, small picnic area, and much more. Come spend the day discovering Ninety Six National Historic Site for yourself. The Park is located 2 miles south of the town of Ninety Six on Highway 248.
