Alerts & Conditions

As the National Park Service (NPS) monitors and responds to the COVID-19 pandemic, we work closely with the NPS Office of Public Health to use the latest science to guide our decision making.  Access to Ninety Six National Historic Site is as follows:

  • Visitor Center is open Wednesday to Sunday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.
  • Park grounds, parking lots, and trails are open from dawn to dusk daily.
  • Public restrooms are open from 9:00am to 5:00pm daily.

While the listed areas are accessible for visitors to enjoy, some services may be limited. The CDC has offered guidance to help people recreating in parks and open spaces prevent the spread of infectious diseases. We will continue to monitor all park functions to ensure that visitors adhere to CDC guidance for mitigating risks associated with the transmission of COVID-19 and take any additional steps necessary to protect public health.
