Valentine, NE – Fall is approaching, and the Niobrara National Scenic River Visitor Center will be returning to its off season hours. Saturday, September 7, will be the final day the visitor center is open on the weekend for the 2024 season. Starting September 8, the Niobrara National Scenic River Visitor Center will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. until Memorial Day weekend 2025.
The visitor center will also be closed on the following federal holidays in 2024: Columbus Day (October 14th), Veterans Day (November 11th), Thanksgiving Day (November 28th), Christmas Day (December 25th), and New Year’s Day (January 1st, 2025).
Niobrara National Scenic River will continue to host events throughout the fall and winter.
