News Release Date: October 22, 2015 Glen Jean, West Virginia, October 21, 2015—A new public boat ramp is now open at the site of Meadow Creek Campground, located one mile north of Sandstone Visitor Center on Meadow Creek Road. The campground is still under construction and is not open to the public at this time. Access is limited strictly to the boat ramp. There is no formal parking lot at this time, although parking is available along the ramp access road. Boaters should be sure to park on gravel surfaces and take care not to block other users. This boat ramp provides access to the New River between Sandstone and Meadow Creek. Park updates will be posted to the park's website at www.nps.gov/neri.
