These regulations are as stated in the Superintendent's Compendium of Regulations and under the camping provisions of CFR, Title 36, Chapter I.
Campers are responsible for violations of the Terms and Conditions of camping regulations.
Site Limitations
- Maximum Vehicle Length: 55 feet (including towing vehicle)
- Maximum Vehicle Height: 14 feet
- Maximum Stay: 14 nights per calendar year, per campground
- Limit 2 vehicles per site
- Limit 8 people per site
Campsite
- Camping is permitted only in designated campground sites
- Bicyclists may use specially Bicycle Only designated campgrounds
- Campsites are on a first come, first serve basis only
- All vehicles tires must be parked on pavement
- Connecting to utilities (electric & water) is prohibited
- Digging or leveling of campsites is prohibited
- Cutting of vegetation is prohibited
- Quiet Hours are from 10:00pm-6:00am
- Use of generators during Quiet Hours is prohibited
- Bathing, washing items such as dishes or clothes, and food preparation in restroom facilities are prohibited
Campfires
- Fires are permitted in personal grills, provided grills, or in fire rings only
- A fire may be ignited and maintainted only by using fuel sources designed and commonly used for warmth or the preparation of food; lighting or maintaining a fire with other materials is prohibited
- All campfires must be completely extinguished when not attended
- Only dead and down wood may be gathered for campfire use
Pet Policy
- There is a maximum of two pets per site.
- Pets must be confined or on a maximum 6 foot leash at all times
- Pets cannot be left unattended at any time
- Pet waste must be cleaned up and disposed of properly
Waste Disposal
- Dumping of human waste or gray-water is not allowed
- Garbage must be placed in garbage cans
- Only disposal of trash from camping activities is allowed
