General Volunteer Events

Community groups, non-profit organizations, university students, partner organizations, etc. generously give their time planning and carrying out volunteer events on National Capital Parks – East (NACE) land. NACE must be aware of all events and ensure awareness and all required required paperwork is submitted.

If interested in planning and carrying out a volunteer event within NACE, please fill out the Volunteer Interest Form. Our volunteer coordinator will contact you with next steps concerning project options, permits, compliance, and volunteer service agreements shortly after the form is received.

NPS Service Days

NACE also has takes part in three major service days throughout the year on MLK Day, Earth Day, and National Public Lands Day. If interested in volunteering or planning a volunteer event for one or more of the NPS service days, please view the sections below.
