Montezuma Well Overlook and Trail Closure Due to Hazardous Bee Activity

Rimrock, AZ — The Well Overlook and beginning portion of the Overlook Trail at Montezuma Well, is closed until further notice due to hazardous bee activity. The back end of the trail remains open for access to the secondary Well overlook. The site, picnic area, and part of the Outlet Trail remain open to visitation.  Once the area is deemed safe for visitors and staff, the overlook and trail will reopen.

We remind all visitors to be safe when visiting the sites and be aware of heightened bee activity throughout the area.
