Jerry Whagado to Demonstrate Silversmithing at Montezuma Castle National Monument
Camp Verde, AZ —Montezuma Castle is happy to announce Jerry Whagado will be at the park June 19th demonstrating silversmithing and jewelry from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The demonstration is free with paid admission to the park.
Mr. Whagado was raised on the Hopi Mesas and is of Western Apache descent. Inspired by his time spent raised on the Mesas, his jewelry combines Hopi silver overlay with Apache designs and symbolism. He is a two-time award winner at the Santa Fe Indian Market and his unique jewelry is for sale everyday through the park’s cooperating association, Western National Parks Association.
