Montezuma Castle and Tuzigoot National Monuments, Including Montezuma Well, Announce 2022 Holiday Hours with Additional Closure on Thanksgiving Day

Camp Verde, AZ / Clarkdale, AZ / Rimrock, AZ — Montezuma Castle National Monument, including Montezuma Well, and Tuzigoot National Monument announce their hours of operation for the 2022 holiday season. The sites will also be closed Thanksgiving Day in addition to its regularly scheduled holiday closures. Note that closures include all sites, trails, visitor centers and contact stations.

The full holiday schedule is as follows:

November 24 - Thanksgiving Day: CLOSED
December 24 - Christmas Eve: 8:00 a.m. – 1:45 p.m.
December 25 - Christmas Day: CLOSED
December 31 - New Year’s Eve: 8:00 a.m. – 1:45 p.m.
January 1 - New Year’s Day: CLOSED
