Due to overnight flooding in Beaver Creek, much of the loop trail at Montezuma Castle will be closed potentially through Wednesday. The outlet trail at Montezuma Well will also be closed to foot traffic until the creek water recedes. Both parks will remain open, but visitors must remain in designated areas while our maintenance staff remove mud and debris from the trails.

Crossing desert washes and flooded streets can be very dangerous. Visitors planning a trip to Central Arizona are advised to check weather reports and traffic information before departing.

Montezuma Castle is located at 2800 Montezuma Castle Rd., Camp Verde, AZ 86322. Montezuma Well is located at 5525 Beaver Creek Road, Rimrock, AZ 86335.
