All National Parks across the country will be fee free on Sunday, August 25, 2019 in honor of Founder’s Day. Montezuma Castle will be celebrating Founder’s Day with a children’s themed storytime featuring local authors from 9:00am-12:00pm. Rita Goldner (Agent H20 Rides the Water Cycle), Kathy Peach (The Tiniest Tumbleweed), and Rita Reger (A Duck in the Desert) will read their books and provide a craft activity.
These events are sponsored by Western National Parks Association, a nonprofit education partner of the National Park Service. Visitors’ tax-free purchases in WNPA bookstores help WNPA provide direct support to 71 NPS units across the American West. More information can be found at www.wnpa.org.
