Concord, MA.  Join us for a full schedule of July events at Minute Man National Historical Park. Take time out from your busy schedule and join us for our stewardship celebraton,  tour The Wayside neighborhhood, celebrate our independence, and experience the world of a British soldier.

The Declaration of Independence
Celebrate American Independence at Minute Man with a reading of the Declaration.
Location: North Bridge, Monument Street, Concord, MA
Time:  Wednesday, July 4th 2017 at 1:00 p.m.

Colonial Justice
Minute Man’s Guild of Historic Interpreters invite you to participate in a colonial magistrate court session.  Will the defendants be fined, sentenced to community service or exonerated?
Location: Hartwell Tavern, 136 North Great Road, Lincoln,  MA.
Time: Saturday, July 14th, 2018 at 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 1:45 p.m.

Town Meeting - Let Your Voice be Heard!
Debate revolutionary issues with Concord residents of 1774 taken from an actual meeting warrant from that time. You are encouraged to take part and let your voice be heard!
Location: North Bridge, Monument Street, Concord, MA
Time:  Saturday, July 21st  2018 at 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Stewardship Celebration
Working together, summer stewards explore the many facets of park resource management. The team will highlight their projects incuding pollinators, livestock, rare species, and stewardship initiatives.
Location: Minute Man Visitor Center, 250 North Great Road, Lincoln MA
Time: Wednesday, July 25th,  2018 at  1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Turtles and Vilots: What Do They Have In Common?
Blanding’s Turtle and Britton’s Vilot are two rare species in and around Minute Man National Historical Park. Learn about what we are doing to inventory, monitor, and protect these species
Location: North Bridge Visitor Center, 174 Liberty St, Concord, MA.
Time: Saturday, July 28th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

The British Redcoat
Why were the Regulars in Massachusetts? Why did they come to Concord? What happened on April 19, 1775 from the perspective of the King's Army? Join Park Ranger Roger Fuller to explore the answers to these questions.

Authoring a Nation: A Hawthorne Neighborhood Walking Tour

Explore the neighborhood where Nathanial Hawthorne, Louisa May Alcott, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and Henry David Thoreau lived and worked. Discover how their writings helped develop a unique American identity. The walk is almost one mile. Please wear comfortable shoes. 45-60 minutes.
Location: The Wayside, 455 Lexington Road, Concord.
Time: Sunday, July 8th , 2018 at 1:30 p.m.
