Mesa Verde National Park would like to wish Happy Holidays to all our visitors. Though the Visitor and Research Center, along with the Chapin Mesa Archeological Museum will be closed on December 24, 25 and January 1, the park will remain open, weather permitting. Visitors will be able to enjoy the Mesa Top Loop drive, the Spruce Tree House Overlook near the museum and the upper portion of the Petroglyph Point Trail. The Far View Sites Complex is also available.
All services will be very limited in the park during the holidays. The Spruce Tree Terrace, which provides food and beverages in the park will also be closed December 24, 25, 31 and January 1. Please plan accordingly and expect winter road conditions. Any weather-related closings will be posted on the park Facebook page as soon as possible. https://www.facebook.com/mesaverdenps/
Visitors are encouraged to pick up a Winter Visitor Guide at the entrance station kiosk or view it on our website at https://go.nps.gov/1wsv34.
