You are invited to experience two weeks of events, starting July 11, that include community events, volunteer service, special tours and exhibitions commemorating Mrs. Walker's life and legacy. The events hosted by our site are centered around the theme, "Labor of Love," to highlight the work done by Walker and her community to improve the lives of others and keep Walker's inspirational legacy alive.

Maggie L. Walker National Historic Site is partnering with numerous organizations to make this celebration happen.
