Richland, W.A. – Manhattan Project National Historical Park is offering a lineup of free ranger programs this summer, inviting visitors to explore the history, science, and people behind the Manhattan Project.

The Hike Through Time guided hike will be held Saturday, May 16, from 9:00–11:00 a.m. up Candy Mountain. This 3.6‑mile round‑trip hike highlights the events and individuals that shaped the mid‑Columbia River region. Meet at the trailhead at 8:45 am for a 9:00 am departure. No registration required.

Atomic Explorations, a series of one‑hour history and science talks, will run Monday through Saturday at 2:00 p.m. from May 25 through September 5 at the park visitor center, 2000 Logston Blvd. in Richland. Topics rotate throughout the week. No registration required.

Ride with a Ranger returns June 13 from 9:00–11:00 a.m., featuring a 17‑mile round‑trip bike ride from the tennis courts in  Leslie Groves Park to the REACH Museum, with interpretive stops along the way and a ranger program at the REACH Museum.Ride with a Ranger returns June 13 from 9:00–11:00 a.m., featuring a 17‑mile round‑trip bike ride from the tennis courts in Leslie Groves Park to the REACH Museum, with interpretive stops along the way and a ranger program at the REACH Museum.
