Building Use Permit Application FormApplications for a building use permit must be submitted at least two weeks in advance and cannot be accepted more than one year prior to your event. While most applications will fall within this timeframe, complex uses or activities may require additional time for processing. If you have questions on how to proceed, contact the Permit Office. Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis and are typically answered within one week. If approved, the permit office will respond with an email confirming the dates and details of your permit, along with an attached permit for your signature. Reservations are not confirmed until all fees have been paid, which can be completed via check or credit card. Forest CenterThe Forest Center serves as a classroom and meeting space at the park. It is the first building in the national park system constructed entirely with Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified wood. A partnership project of the National Park Service and The Woodstock Foundation, the Center has been awarded Platinum Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.
