Shout out to Scott!

I have met so many great mentors since arriving and interning at this National Historical Park but the ultimate person that I admire the most is a special ranger named Scott Davison. Scott is the ideal role model I look up to. This incredible man has this ability to educate others that let them know how they and our surroundings are significant. Listening to Scott Davison share his story and knowledge, has led me to having a grander appreciation for nature especially understanding the trees and birds within the environment. He has taught me how to psh to birds and understand their calls and songs. He has taught me the history behind the plethora of trees within the park. He taught me how to communicate with visitors. He taught me patience, conflict resolution, stewardship, and everything in between. Scott is, by far, the most influential person I have met through this internship. I have never been more excited to learn in my life. Since the internship is coming to an end in just a few weeks, I feel like it's imperative that I give him a shout-out. Thank you for making this such a wonderful experience.
