Lincoln Home National Historic Site will host a variety of festive winter programs on Friday December 12th, and Saturday December 13th.

Lincoln Home National Historic Site will host the play “A Message at Midnight” on Friday, December 12th at 3 PM and on Saturday, December 13th at 3 PM. The play follows Abraham Lincoln, Mary Lincoln and Ulysses S. Grant as they spend Christmas Eve awaiting news of General Sherman and his campaign towards Savannah. The play features Randy Duncan as Abraham Lincoln, Pam Brown as Mary Lincoln and Dennis Rendleman as Ulysses S. Grant. The play lasts approximately 45 minutes.

Following the performance on Friday, December 12th there will be light refreshments provided inside the Visitor Center by the Lincoln Presidential Foundation. From 4:30 – 6:30 PM on the evening of Friday, December 12th the site will also be hosting candlelight tours inside the Lincoln Home.

All programs are free, and no registration is required.
