Pup Junior Rangers

"Explore, Learn, and Protect!" The Junior Ranger motto is recited by children around the country; each taking an oath of their own to protect parks, continue to learn about parks, and share their own ranger story with friends and family. At the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail Visitor Center, kids of all ages complete activities that help them learn all about the journey of the Corps of Discovery. After completion, the visitors are then sworn in as an official Junior Rangers and are presented with a Junior Ranger badge and certificate!

The activities really helped us learn about the expedition and the people that Lewis and Clark met in a fun and creative way. Afterwards, we too became Junior Rangers! What an honor.

Many visitor centers and museums along the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail have a Junior Rangers program.  Find a site near you by using our online visitor map

Or participate in online Junior Ranger program.
