News Release Date: June 30, 2015 Due to extreme conditions, all fires at Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area are prohibited effective July 1, 2015, until further notice. No open flames are permitted. This includes but is not limited to campfires in NPS approved fire rings and barbeque grates, charcoal fires, tiki torches, incense burners, etc. Self-contained propane or gas stoves or lanterns are still allowed. For the most current information regarding the fire ban in the Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area, please call 509-754-7893. |
