New boat dock next to RR boat ramp

FRITCH TX: Lake Meredith National Recreation Area (LAMR) is completing the installation of a boat dock at the RR boat ramp in Harbor Bay.  This dock improves recreational opportunities on the lake since there were no docks in the Harbor Bay area. “We recognize the value that docks provide,” said LAMR Superintendent Robert Maguire. “With the Harbor Bay area showing some of the greatest increase in visitation [up 18.5%], it was a logical choice and beneficial for the community.”

“This dock also provides increased flexibility,” continued Maguire. “Being portable, as the lake levels rise covering the RR boat ramp, the dock can be shifted to the Harbor Bay ramp.”
