A Changing Landscape
Since 1965, visitors to Lake Meredith National Recreation Area focused on the lake and activities like boating and fishing. Lake Meredith has had extreme fluctuations in water levels from a low of 26.14 ft. to a high of 101.85 ft.
Today, the lake is close to 77 ft. and recreational activities are in full swing.
