UPDATE: MISSING MAN RECOVERED AT LAKE MOHAVE
BOULDER CITY, Nevada – Search and rescue crews have recovered a 44-year-old male from San Jose, California, who went missing June 17 at Pot Cove on Lake Mohave within Lake Mead National Recreation Area.
At 11:13 a.m. June 17, the Lake Mead Interagency Communication Center received a report stating that an adult male was seen going underwater, and he didn’t resurface.
The National Park Service and Bullhead City Police Department searched the area with divers and aerial support until nightfall June 17. Crews returned June 18 with side scan sonar and divers and located the man underwater around 9 a.m.
The incident is under investigation. The Mohave County Medical Examiner will identify the victim and determine cause of death.

SEARCH UNDERWAY FOR MISSING MAN
BOULDER CITY, Nevada – National Park Service rangers are responding to reports of a possible drowning at Pot Cove on Lake Mohave within Lake Mead National Recreation Area.
At 11:13 a.m., the Lake Mead Interagency Communication Center received a report stating that an adult male was seen going underwater, and he didn’t resurface.
National Park Service Rangers arrived on scene and are searching for the man near the point where he was last seen. Additional first responders are en route.
