National Jr. Ranger Day Celebration at Knife River Indian Villages National Historic Site

Explore the world of archeology, celebrate National Jr. Ranger Day with the staff of Knife River Indian Villages National Historic Site from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time on Saturday, April 24, 2010.  Older children, ages 6-12 will receive a Jr. Ranger badge and certificate upon completion of the Jr. Ranger booklet.  Children, ages 3-5 completing the Jr. Explorer booklet, will receive a button and certificate. All participants will receive a patch and certificate created for National Jr. Ranger Day.

       All the activities are free.  Park hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time.  Knife River Indian Villages NHS is located ½ mile north of Stanton on County Road 37.  Join the staff and celebrate National Jr. Ranger Day.  For more information, you can call the park at (701) 745-3300.
