Explore the world of archeology, celebrate National Jr. Ranger Day with the staff of Knife River Indian Villages National Historic Site from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time on Saturday, April 24, 2010. Older children, ages 6-12 will receive a Jr. Ranger badge and certificate upon completion of the Jr. Ranger booklet. Children, ages 3-5 completing the Jr. Explorer booklet, will receive a button and certificate. All participants will receive a patch and certificate created for National Jr. Ranger Day. All the activities are free. Park hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time. Knife River Indian Villages NHS is located ½ mile north of Stanton on County Road 37.
