The Keweenaw National Historical Park Advisory Commission will convene for its regular quarterly meeting at 1:00pm on Wednesday October 19th, 2022. The meeting will be held in-person at the Keweenaw National Historical Park Headquarters building. The Commission requires attendees to wear a mask if they are unvaccinated.
The meeting will include an update on the work of the Commission and the National Park Service during the last quarter, discussion of plans for the upcoming quarter, as well as questions, requests, and comments from members of the public. The meeting will include discussion of creating a process of application to the Keweenaw Heritage Site program, as well as an update on a recent industrial heritage study trip to Wales.
The Keweenaw NHP Advisory Commission, paneled by citizens appointed by the Secretary of the Interior, represents the public and works collaboratively with the National Park Service to advise and assist with managing the resources of Keweenaw National Historical Park.
