Tim Ervin Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens provides a unique habitat for wildlife, combing the ecosystems of the aquatic gardens, tidal marshes, wooded areas, and the Anacostia River into one site. You may see deer, muskrats, and geese in the park, but the area also plays host to beavers, turtles, frogs, river otters, and Great Blue herons, among other things. |
