Get Involved

JOFL Volunteers
Flanking the wreath on the 125th Anniversary of the Johnstown Flood are, left to right, Park Rangers Nathan Koozer and John Hrubochak. These rangers were accompanied by Volunteers-In-Parks (VIPs) Valerie D. Chamberlin, Amanda Koozer, Paul Robison, and Jim Effinger.

National Park Service.

Volunteering is the number 1 way to get more involved here at Johnstown Flood National Memorial. Depending on your area of interest, you can assist Park Rangers lead by leading interpretive programs or even lead a program of your own; rove on a trail and provide information to hikers; assist in the visitor center with greeting visitors; and/or even conducting or assisting in original, ongoing research. Really, the opportunities are endless. If you are interested in volunteering, please call (814) 886-6170 and ask for the volunteer coordinator.
