Houghton, MI – The American landscapes which have become our national parks have challenged us from the first time people encountered them. In honor of the National Park Service turning 101, Ranger Lori Honrath will share The Challenges of Isle Royale. From shipwreck survival to long days on the trail, Isle Royale’s isolation has challenged all who have explored this island archipelago.
Programs are free, geared for adults, and will average 45 minutes.
