About the Artist

John Isaac was an Isle Royale Artist-in-Residence from August 9th to August 24th, 2013. He was born in a village in India and moved to New York in 1968. He received a B.S. in Zoology from the University of Madras in India in 1966. He has traveled all over the world as a photojournalist. He also writes books and leads workshops.
