Floorboards removed

Flooring finishes including carpet, padding and hardboard finishes are removed. Floorboards are removed intact whenever possible. Hand tools or fine-bladed power tools are used to remove boards with minimal damage.

Park woodcrafter records floorboard locations on a diagram. When the construction project is completed, the floor will be reassembled with each board returned to its original location.

 
Floorboards are numbered for reassembly in original locations.

Floorboards are marked with location numbers that correspond to the floor diagram, then carefully stacked away from the construction area for storage.
