Children of all ages and their families are invited to investigate nature with Park Rangers at Homestead National Monument of America on Saturday, July 11, 2015. Meet the ranger at the Education Center at 10 a.m.t o prowl the tallgrass prairie. Look closely at plant life and learn tips along the way about basic plant identification. There will be a fun craft activity, too!
These programs are FREE of charge, great for all ages, and reservations are not necessary. Nature Detectives will be sleuthing outdoors so please dress appropriately for the weather. Sunscreen, bug spray, and closed toe shoes are encouraged. Program length is subject to weather conditions.
