Hours Changing at Homestead National Monument of America

Fall, winter, and spring operating hours will begin at Homestead National Monument of America, starting on Tuesday September 6, 2016, the monument will be open daily Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Saturdays and Sundays. Along with the changing winter hours, the monument will offer a wide variety of upcoming daily programs. 

"Fall is a great time of year to visit Homestead National Monument of America," stated Superintendent Mark Engler.  "Some of the highlights include a Naturalization Ceremony on September 16, Prairie Appreciation Week during the week of September 25, Howling Homestead on October 29, Junior Ranger Weekend November 25-27, and the Winter Festival of Prairie Cultures beginning November 27 and continuing through December."
