We invite you to join us as we dive into the rich history of the land and early Latin American setters who called it their home on Saturday August 1, 2015 at Homestead National Monument of America's Education Center at 7 pm. Latino Heritage Intern Paola Pérez will be presenting a program titled La Tierra Prometida (The Promised Land) which will be followed with musical assistance from Ursus Guzman. "People from all over the world homesteaded in the United States, adding to the rich diversity of this country" said Superintendent Mark Engler. You are invited to bring a favorite lawn chair and insect repellent. In case of inclement weather the program will move into the Education Center.
