Haleakalā National Park announces the reopening of the Summit Visitor Center

News Release Date: May 20, 2026

Haleakalā National Park will reopen the Haleakalā Visitor Center at 8 am Thursday, May 21, 2026, with temporary exhibits and retail merchandise available for visitors. The visitor center had been closed to allow for repairs and building improvements.
