GULF BREEZE, Fla. – Gulf Islands National Seashore will close public restroom facilities in Florida beginning February 19 for predicted freezing temperatures.
The following restrooms will be closed until further notice.
The Okaloosa Area, Opal Beach Complex, Perdido Key Area east pavilion, Langdon Beach pavilion, Fort Pickens Campground office (white building), and the Fort Pickens Jetty.
The following will be open to visitors.
Open Restrooms
• Fort Pickens Area - Fort Pickens Ferry Plaza
• Fort Pickens Campground restrooms
• Naval Live Oaks Area - South Pavilion, east of headquarters building
• Perdido Key Area - west pavilion closest to the flagpole
The park will reopen facilities when weather conditions are favorable. For more information, please follow the park’s social media accounts and website.
