The renovated visitor center with new exhibits recently opened to the public.

• The visitor center is currently open daily 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. Rangers are present to assist you.
• Restrooms with flush toilets and water are available in the visitor center building lobby 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.
• New exhibits include highlights of the diverse cultures historically present here, a large diorama depicting park and preserve ecosystems, a night sky video and night life of the dunes exhibit, a 3D model of the valley and geology animation, and a sand-wind interactive.
