ENTRANCE FEES: Private Vehicles
Private, non-commercial vehicle:
$10
Motorcycle: $10
Individual (hiker, bicyclist): $5

All park visitors are required to pay an entrance fee or have a valid federal recreation pass to recreate at the park. Permits are good for seven consecutive days. Fees apply to those 16 years old and older. Entrance Fees are paid at the visitor center by credit card or cash.

Please see USGS Store if you would like to obtain an America the Beautiful pass. Passes are also sold at the Golden Spike NHP visitor center.

Fourth grade students are eligible for the Every Kid in a Park Pass. You can get your pass certificate online at www.everykidinapark.gov

RESERVATIONS

School Groups should call 435-471-2209 x 432 to schedule reservations. For more information on what the park offers for school groups please visit our education page.

Scout group reservations must be made at least two (2) weeks in advance, a two (2) hour minimum service project must be completed in order to waive entrance fees. Please call 435-471-2209 x 437 to schedule reservations.

Fee Waivers Golden Spike National Historical Park offers a Fee Waiver Program, where educational groups can take advantage of learning opportunities within the park site. In order to qualify for fee waivers, groups must be representing a school, other bona fide academic institution, or their organization must have noncommercial educational purposes. All groups requesting fee waivers must apply and meet the required criteria two weeks prior to their group visit. Regular entrance fees apply if reservations have not been set up in advance.
