Choosing an Entrance PassDo you have or qualify for a discounted America the Beautiful Pass?If you already have an America the Beautiful—the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass, that's the only entrance pass you need. Seniors, military, visitors with a permanent disability, and families with a 4th grader are eligible for a free or discounted America the Beautiful pass. How often do you plan to visit national parks in the next 12 months?If you don't qualify for a discounted America the Beautiful pass, we recommend choosing an entrance pass based on your trip plans.
Entrance PassesStandard Entrance Pass$10.00–$20.00
All park visitors are required to pay an entrance fee or have a valid federal recreation pass to recreate at the park. Permits are good for seven consecutive days. Fees apply to those 16 years old and older. Entrance Fees are paid at the visitor center by credit card only.
The per vehicle fee covers all occupants in a single private vehicle. The fee will allow visitors access to all resources open to the public, including auto tours, walking trails, films, exhibit areas, ranger guided programs, and other seasonal activities.
If visitors have any of the America the Beautiful Inter-agency passes, these will cover the pass holder and anyone that is in their personal vehicle.
The motorcycle fee admits the driver and one passenger. The fee will allow visitors access to all resources open to the public, including auto tours, walking trails, films, exhibit area, ranger guided programs, other seasonal activities.
If visitors have any of the America the Beautiful Inter-agency passes, these will cover the pass holder and the passenger of the motorcycle. Admits one individual with no car. This pass is typically used for bicyclists, and pedestrians. Youth 15 and under are admitted free. The fee will allow visitor access to all resources open to the public, including auto tours, walking trails, films, exhibit area, ranger guided programs, other seasonal activities. If visitors have any of the America the Beautiful Inter-agency passes, these will cover the pass holder.  Annual Entrance - Park$35.00 Golden Spike National Historical Park Annual Pass
This annual pass covers entrance fees at Golden Spike National Historical Park for the pass holder and occupants within a single non-commercial vehicle or the pass holder and one passenger on a motorcycle.

America the Beautiful Passes are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Passholders must show valid photo identification (ID) with each pass. FEE FREE DAYS Nationwide Fee Free Days will be announced throughout the year. RESERVATIONS School Groups should call 435-471-2209 x 432 to schedule reservations. For more information on what the park offers for school groups please visit our School Field Trips page. Scout group reservations must be made at least two (2) weeks in advance, a two (2) hour minimum service project must be completed in order to waive entrance fees. Please call 435-471-2209 x 437 to schedule reservations. Fee Waivers Golden Spike National Historical Park offers a Fee Waiver Program, where educational groups can take advantage of learning opportunities within the park site. In order to qualify for fee waivers, groups must be representing a school, other bona fide academic institution, or their organization must have noncommercial educational purposes. All groups requesting fee waivers must apply and meet the required criteria two weeks prior to their group visit.
