Golden Spike National Historical Park to Host 44th Annual Railroader Festival

It’s back! Golden Spike National Historical Park invites the public to the 44th Annual Railroader Festival on October 15th, 2022. Celebrate railroad and frontier culture with locomotive ranger programs, hand car rides, motor car rides, locomotive cab tours, a vintage photo booth, and a self-guided ghost town tour. Locomotive demonstration runs will take place at 10:00 am,1:00 pm, and 4:30 pm.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: October 15th, 2022
09:00 am Visitor Center opens
10:00 am Locomotive Ranger Program
10:00 am Family activities available
01:00 pm    Locomotive Ranger Program
04:30 pm Family activities conclude
04:30 pm  Locomotive Ranger Program
05:00 pm Visitor Center closes

”October is a great time to visit the Golden Spike,” said Ranger Lucas Hugie, “pack a picnic lunch and come enjoy the cool weather and all the family friendly activities as we step back in time to days of the old wild west.”

Golden Spike National Historical Park is located 32 miles west of Brigham City via state highways 13 and 83.
