Eligibility: Contest is open to 4^th grade classes in the Bay Area Schools. Title 1 schools highly encouraged to participate.
Registration Deadline: Teachers interested in participating MUST first register their class by January 15^th, 2023. Entries will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. No entries will be accepted after 50 submissions. Registration form must be complete and sent as a Word Document to the email address below.
Artwork Deadline: All submissions must be RECEIVED by email no later than January 20^th, 2023 5 p.m. PST. Submissions must be scanned and in PDF format (no pictures of artwork).
Recognition: Top three submissions will be given awards and displayed digitally at the Presidio Visitor center. All finalists' entries willl be posted to the GOGA Website.
Judging: Artwork will be judged by a panel of park staff on presentation, quality, imagination, originality, creativity, and relevance to and incorporation of the Next 50 Years of GOGA Contest theme.
Other Rules: By submitting an entry, the entrant agrees to allow Golden Gate NRA partners to use his or her name to post on the GGNRA website, without compensation unless prohibited. All entries and all rights of ownership in and to the entries, including all rights to use, reproduce, publish, modify, edit, and distribute the same will become the exclusive property of partners and will not be returned. The Next 50 Years of GOGA planning committee reserves the right to edit, modify, copyright, publish, use, and reproduce any and all entries without further compensation. The Next 50 Years of GOGA planning committee, its agents and contractor, are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or postage-due entries. Contest void where prohibited or restricted by law.
