Enterprise for Youth High School Interns (Part-time)
- The National Park Service partners with Enterprise for Youth, a San Francisco based workforce development non-profit to provide high school aged youth opportunities to intern with the park.
- Wage: $20/hour, part-time, 12 hours per week
- Dates of internship: early June to late July 2024
- Interns must be able to report to work at National Park offices and worksites. Prospective interns are in high schools in San Francisco, East Bay Area, Marin, and surrounding SF Bay Area.
- Job Readiness training is REQUIRED to intern with us (participants receive a $125 stipend for completing the training)
- Next Job Readiness Training Dates: February 6 - April 6, Wednesday or Thursday cohorts available

Fellow: Golden Gate Raptor Observatory (Full-time)
- The Golden Gate Raptor Observatory is seeking passionate biology or environmental science early-career biologists looking to gain experience studying and working with raptors at a long-term study site, interacting with many different and multifaceted people in team settings, and being part of a National Park Service based community science team.

Fellow: One Tam Community Engagement (Full-time)
The One Tam Community Engagement Fellow will help make connections, and lead programs that educate, inspire, engage park visitors and volunteers on Mt. Tam on a wide range of topics and with a focus on communities who have never visited our park lands. The Fellow will operate the Tam Van, our mobile visitor center, and develop activities to engage visitors using this tool both in parks and at community events.

Fellow: One Tam Forest Health Community Engagement (Full-time)
We are seeking a Community Engagement Fellow to help ensure the success of this collaborative project by leading efforts to educate and engage community members about Marin’s forests and the need for forest stewardship. The Fellow will gain knowledge on fire ecology, the role that invasive species in increasing wildland fire behavior, wildland fire safety and prevention, and climate change adaptation strategies for forest management.

Intern: Youth Programs (Full-time)
The Youth Program interns are responsible for supporting the Conservancy’s Youth Programs staff in the support and facilitation of leadership and education programs for local youth. The Youth Program Interns supervise and mentor middle school age youth through activities centering around team/community building, environmental science, environmental justice, service learning, outdoor experiences, visual art, wellness, and leadership development. In addition to program delivery, the Youth Interns help to ensure all youth program participants have a safe, fun, and meaningful summer. Programs take place at the Crissy Field Center, in parks, at schools, and in communities of the youth we serve.

Intern: Adventure Guide (Part-time)
The Adventure Guide intern team welcomes, orients, and engages visitors of all ages and backgrounds to the Tunnel Tops and Presidio. This role amplifies what the Tunnel Tops and larger park environs have to offer by supporting meaningful park adventures and providing a positive and informative visitor experience. Adventure Guides help provide a bridge for visitors to the Presidio who may experience barriers to access. As an initial point of contact at the Tunnel Tops Outpost and Field Station, this position is a very active job where you will be on your feet and outdoors much of the day moving between locations. This position also interacts with youth (young children through teens), families, and community groups to help increase access to the park and to assist in facilitating unique park experiences. There will be an emphasis on serving communities traditionally underrepresented in National Parks. This position requires workdays that include Saturday and or Sundays with hours ranging between 12-18 hours a week. Extensive training and park orientation are provided to help develop knowledge and understanding of park resources and career opportunities. This position starts on May 18 and goes through October 26th.

Intern: Historic Gardens (Full-time)
The Community Stewardship and Engagement team is looking for one intern interested in learning about sustainable gardening, visitor engagement, and volunteer program management. Most importantly, we are looking for someone excited to learn and practice new skills, and to connect people with gardens. Working as part of a team, the intern will gain experience under the supervision of Community Stewardship and Engagement program managers.

Intern: One Tam Community Science (Full-time)
The intern will focus on volunteer management and be part of the team running public events for Marin Wildlife Watch, Tamalpais Bee Lab, and Bioblitz programs. As a secondary focus, the intern will do fieldwork on public lands in Marin County and perform associated data management. Additionally, there will be opportunities to get creative making content & activities for in-person and online outreach & community engagement. Interns are also required to take part in professional development activities throughout the parks.
