SAVANNAH, GA – As a part of Super MuseumSunday, Fort Pulaski National Monument will be fee free onSunday, February 9, 2014! Fort Pulaski will participate in this annual Georgia Historical Society tradition. Georgians and visitors alike will experience our first city's rich history and cultural life as historic house museums, art museums, and other points of interest open their doors to the public at no charge. More than 40 cultural institutions in and around Savannah will participate in this popular annual family event. Fort Pulaski National Monument includes a wide range of historic and natural resources. Not only is it the site of a significant Civil War battle, it contains one of the largest and most intact federally protected salt marshes in the United States.
