SAVANNAH, GA – Fort Pulaski National Monument has resumed operations on Tuesday, August 4th, under Phase 1 of Covid Adaptive Recovery. While park trails and restroom facilities are available, historic Fort Pulaski, the visitor center, and the north shoreline remain closed.
No guided interpretive tours by park staff are available. Please be considerate of park staff and other visitors by maintaining a 6-foot distance, encouraging the use of face coverings when unable to maintain social distancing, washing hands with soap and water for 20-seconds or more, using hand sanitizer with at least 60% ethyl alcohol when soap and water is not available, covering coughs and sneezes appropriately, and respecting physical barriers when interacting with park staff.

Fort Pulaski National Monument is located on U.S. Highway 80, 15 miles east of Savannah. Hours of operation are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. seven days a week. The last admission into the park is at 4:30 p.m. An entrance fee of $10.00 per person is charged for visitors 16 years old and older and may be paid on Recreation.gov at https://www.recreation.gov/sitepass/2699.
