Fort Pulaski will Reopen on Saturday, September 7th after Hurricane Dorian

SAVANNAH, GA – Fort Pulaski National Monument will reopen Saturday, September 7th following Hurricane Dorian. Park officials completed an assessment of the park’s facilities and resources on Friday and found minimal damage. The national monument closed on September 1st in anticipation of tropical impacts from the slow-moving, powerful hurricane. All visitor facilities will be open on their regular schedule from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Fort Pulaski National Monument is located on U.S. Highway 80, 15 miles east of Savannah.
