SAVANNAH, GA – Fort Pulaski National Monument will celebrate 100 years as a National Monument with a free weekend of special programs, addresses, and performances on October 12-13, 2024. During this two-day celebration, the park will welcome state and local officials, National Park Service leadership, a variety of community and agency partners, and the public to Cockspur Island to look both back – at 100+ years of Fort Pulaski history – and forward, toward the park’s future. Fort Pulaski National Monument will be free and open to the public on both Saturday October 12 and Sunday October 13, 2024 during operating hours.Centennial Program Schedule

Throughout the day on both Saturday October 12 and Sunday October 13, park staff will offer pop-up archaeological and photographic exhibits highlighting various periods and themes from Fort Pulaski’s 195-year history. Food trucks will also be available.
