Fort Pulaski Candlelantern Tours

Come re-live a Savannah tradition and join in the celebration of the holiday season with Fort Pulaski National Monument. On the evenings of Friday, December 10, and Saturday, December 11, Fort Pulaski staff and volunteers will conduct the annual Candlelantern tours which re-create the Confederate Nog party of 1861. The tours take visitors through the historic fort by candlelight and oil lamps. Refreshments, hot cider, special tours, and period music highlight these evenings of merrymaking.

Advance reservations are required and will begin Monday, November 1st through Sunday, December 5th. A limited number of tickets are available for each program.

Programs will be presented at 6:00, 6:30 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, and 8:30 p.m. both evenings. Reservations can be made in person or over the phone. Phone reservations can be made by calling (912) 786-5787.

If making a advanced reservation over the phone, please send cash, check, or money order payable to the National Park Service. Tickets may be picked up at the fort or the evening of your advanced reservation.

Entrance Fees

$5.00 per adult.

Children 15 years and under are free but must be issued a ticket.
All persons, including children, must have a ticket.
(No credit cards are accepted)
