Spring is in the air and the cherry blossoms aren’t the only thing blooming! Baltimore blossoms with events and programs for everyone to enjoy during this time of year.
On April 4, 2026, join the National Park Service and our partners to enjoy peak bloom and discover some of the many things the city has to offer during this time of year.

As the cherry blossoms bloom and petals dance through the air, learn about local community attractions. Local businesses, parks, and partners from around the Baltimore area will have tables set up near the cherry blossom Groves at Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine.

Let's come together as a community, like the people of Baltimore during the War of 1812. Bring your loved ones to experience the beauty and start a new favorite Spring tradition!

Join the ranks of Fort McHenry Defenders by doing your part to protect our natural and cultural resources!

While visiting our cherry blossom groves, please follow the Leave No Trace principles:

• Do not touch or climb trees
• Leave blossoms, plants and other natural objects where you find them
• Dispose of trash properly
• Do not feed wildlife
• Be respectful of other visitors and park staff

We appreciate your help in keeping the groves as beautiful as possible, for as long as possible!
