Schools must register in advance for a ranger-guided education programs at Fort Larned.

• Please call 620-285-6911 or send an email to request a program.
• Let us know the time and date of your visit, and an estimate of your group size.
• If you have any special requests or needs, please let us know in advance and we'll do our best to accommodate them.

For Larned NHS is the recipient of the Open OutDoors National Park Foundation Transportation Grant!

The Open Outdoors program will put nature and history at the fingertips of our students through a national park experience. The original Fort Larned is a part of your students' heritage and we want them to experience the joy of exploring all there is that makes up the fort. Bus funds are currently available for you next field trip. Call the fort at 620-285-6911 to reserve your spring field trip.
