Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument - Paleontology Program Interns (U.S. National Park Service)

Adrian Maxwell is working on the Inventory and Monitoring Project. He records data from the field to keep track of fossil sites and monitor them for theft and vandalism. His internship was made possible by the GeoCorps, he is working under the Geological Society of America internship program. He is originally from Gary, Indiana and is currently a junior at Indiana University, studying Geology.

Lindsay Walker is working on interpretive web materials for El Bosque Petrificado Piedra Chamana (The Petrified Forest Piedra Chamana) in Sexi, Peru. Her internship was made possible by the Friends of Florissant Fossil Beds. She is originally from Lexington, Virginia and just graduated from the University of Mary Washington (Fredencksburg, Virginia) with a BS in Geology in the Spring of 2011.
