Homestead Trolley to the National Parks

A green and orange trolley pulls up on a road with a flagpole and a building with a green roof in the background.
The City of Homestead provides seasonal trolley service to Everglades and Biscayne National Parks. Stops at Everglades include Royal Palm and the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center.

Public transportation to and from the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center and Royal Palm is seasonally available through the City of Homestead trolley service, from approximately December through April. Stop markers are found outside of the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center and the Royal Palm shelter when the trolley is in service. This is the only public transportation offered to anywhere inside of the park. Schedules are subject to change.

Please note that the only trolley stops inside the park are the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center and Royal Palm. Park entrance fees do not apply if riding the trolley between these locations. For visiting areas further down the Main Park Road past Royal Palm, a private vehicle is needed and park entrance fees will apply.

Schedules and reservations for the trolley service can be found at the City of Homestead website: Homestead Trolley to the National Parks
