What is SEE!
Seasons in the Everglades Ecosystem or SEE! is a photographic journal of life in the Everglades. Once or twice each week, we'll bring you photos from the everglades and the stories that go along with them. Occasionally, we'll mix it up with video or let you know about upcoming events in the Everglades.

Who maintains it?
SEE! is maintained by staff from the Environmental Education Program at Everglades National Park.

Who's it for?
Anyone. We hope to inspire educators to bring the Everglades into their classrooms so the content on SEE! will be generally aimed at elementary and secondary educators. That doesn't mean however, that any fan of the Everglades would want to miss the photos and stories presented here.

Can I comment on stories?
Yes. Each story will have a comments and questions section. Comments will not display immediately, they will approved by staff before appearing on the page. You can optionally leave your name and e-mail along with your comment. If you choose to leave your e-mail, it will not be displayed or shared with anyone.

Are there other ways to connect?
For more ways to comment on posts, start discussions, and see who else is interested in learning and teaching about the Everglades, follow the link to our Facebook fan page. By becoming a fan of Everglades Education, you won't be sharing personal information, but you'll receive updates in your news feed when there is a new SEE! post.

To follow new posts on SEE! you can also visit Everglades National Park's Twitter page. By following Everglades National Park, you'll see links to new posts on SEE! in addition to receiving the latest news from the Park.

Alternatively, you can use the RSS feed to subscribe to SEE! in your favorite news reader.

Can I use the photos from SEE!
Yes. The photos on SEE! can be downloaded and shared with your class or distributed for noncommercial purposes with attribution to the National Park Service (NPS) and the listed photographer.

In any SEE! post, click on an image to view a large version of the photo. The large version can be downloaded by right-clicking and choosing "save image as". You can also browse our photostream on Flickr.
